The Copper Kings main social function is the annual golf tournament the Copper King Classic.  This years  tournament was the eighteenth year.  The tournament receives strong support from the participants, many of whom play yearly in the tournament.  The tournament serves as a great social event and sort of a reunion bringing golfers, spouses, and friends from all over Arizona and coming in from out of state for the event.

The tournament serves a dual purpose.  We play golf and have a good time and we still are able to raise money to sponsor three scholarships per year for Douglas High School graduates who wish to attend Cochise College.  We have sponsored scholarships for all eighteen years. 

We greatly appreciate the strong support of the Copper King golfers and the many sponsors who help us put on the tournament each year.
